L’ancien président sénégalais, Macky Sall, a récemment séjourné discrètement à Abidjan. Bien que les raisons de sa visite dans la capitale ivoirienne ne soient pas connues, il a été confirmé qu’il a eu des entretiens avec au moins deux hautes autorités du pays.
À la mi-août, Macky Sall a passé trois jours à Abidjan, un séjour qui n’a pas été médiatisé.
Selon les informations d’Africa Intelligence, il serait arrivé en jet privé et aurait résidé dans un hôtel de luxe de la ville.
Durant son séjour, il a rencontré le président de la République, Alassane Ouattara, ainsi que le président de l’Assemblée nationale, Adama Bictogo. Après ces échanges, Macky Sall a également mené d’autres consultations dans le pays.
Depuis qu’il a quitté le pouvoir, Macky Sall demeure très actif sur la scène internationale, participant à de nombreuses réunions et conférences dans le cadre de ses fonctions d’envoyé spécial pour le Pacte de Paris pour les Peuples et la Planète (4P).
